I honestly thought being pregnant in the summer (in Oklahoma, no less!) would be unbearable, especially since my due date is September 3rd so I’d be in my third trimester in the heat of the summer. However, lucky me it hasn’t been too bad! I must say, I’ve been lucky with this rather mild Oklahoma heat this year. There was one summer we literally had a high above 100 for I don’t know how many days in a row. It was horrible. This year has been much better. In addition to the weather being cooperative, I’ve also been wearing a lot of maxi dresses and loose fitting tops. This black maxi dress has been one of my favorites. Obviously, it is so versatile and can be dressed up or down. The material is super breathable AND it is nursing friendly! So I’m looking forward to that little perk after little Charley arrives 🙂
I know it can be a chore trying to figure out what maternity clothing to buy and what to pass on (who wants to buy an entire new wardrobe for pregnancy?!?!), but I found so many options at Pink Blush Maternity (they also have non-maternity clothes, btw!). Their price point is great and they have so many options, so it definitely helps solve the maternity shopping conundrum we all find ourselves in! This is just the first look I did with their clothing, so be looking for the other two next week! I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on this dress. It’s definitely one of my favorite purchases during this pregnancy!
